On my way home from work today… my car got hit by a dog.
Yep.. you read it right… my car got hit by a dog… luckily.. the dog is fine.
I was driving down my street towards home (50 mins ago)… and a guy was walking his dog on my left. I had my eyes on him… apparently so did the dog that lived at the house on my right. I saw a flash and heard a “THUNK” towards the rear of my car.
I guess this dog wanted to say hi to the other dog…. and wasn’t going to let a little thing like a car get in it’s way!
It rammed right into the side of my car! 
The guy walking his dog ran across the street to see if the dog was ok….. the woman who owned the dog ran over… I slammed the breaks and backed up. IDK how the dog got away to run into the road. The woman and her little 3 yr old (?) son were in their yard. The little kid was so cute.. he had no idea what was going on… he was smiling at me and playing in the snow. But if that dog had ran out and I hit it (instead of it hitting me).. then that poor kid would have known what was going on! 
..and I woulda felt like shit even though it wasn’t my fault.
The dog seemed a bit stunned.. and scared.. but seemed to be just fine.
Seems kind of ironic that this happened today with the theme here… and how close that dog came to going to canine heaven.

Wow, I’m glad everything is ok. Things can happen so fast! That happened to me a long time ago….the dog ran into me on my moms street. It hit me, and kept on going. I tried to see where it went, but it was too fast. I was actually coming to a stop sign, so I doubt that it was hurt, but it literally scared the shit out of it. When I got to the doctors office, my mom went in and I checked the car….I had to run my car through a car wash. It crapped all over my car.
